Indian Lawyers Association (ILA)- Membership Policy
1. Introduction
The Indian Lawyers Association (ILA) is a premier national professional association committed to strengthening the legal profession and advancing the administration of justice in India. ILA brings together advocates, judges, senior advocates, academicians, law students, in-house counsel, mediators, arbitrators and other legal professionals to promote excellence, ethics, leadership, continuing legal education, networking and legal reforms.
With more than 100 Chapters across India and a vision to establish over 400 Chapters nationwide, ILA seeks to create the largest and most influential network of legal professionals in the country.

4. Professional Membership Fee Structure
ILA follows a geographically differentiated pricing model to ensure wider participation from legal professionals across India while maintaining the value and prestige of membership. The Professional Membership fee shall be determined based on the member's principal place of practice.

9. Membership Renewal
Annual memberships are valid for one year from the date of enrolment. Membership benefits may be suspended until renewal is completed.
10. Membership Fee Policy
Professional Membership fees are determined by city category. Young Lawyers receive a 50% concession on the applicable Professional Membership Fee. Honorary Membership is granted only by invitation or approval. The National Executive Committee may revise membership fees and city classifications from time to time.

12. Membership Approval
All membership applications shall be subject to verification and approval by the designated authority of ILA. The Association reserves the right to accept, defer or reject any application in accordance with its Constitution and Policies.
